Bulgaria: bomb in a car near Sofia Airport
The Bulgarian authorities have now discovered an explosive device in a van type vehicle that was parked outside the Sofia International Airport.
"An explosive device was found in the van," said airport spokeswoman Sofia Daniela Veleva, adding that the police is continuing its efforts to neutralize the mechanism.
Earlier the Bulgarian police had evacuated a portion of Terminal 1 of the airport, while controlled luggage located prominently in the van.
