Meeting with President of the European Central Bank Mario Draghi will later today (15:00 local time) the President Prokopis Pavlopoulos at the ECB in Frankfurt. Among the issues expected to be discussed at the meeting is the course of the Greek adjustment program, but also the quantitative easing policy at the ECB.
According to announcements, German unions have called today in Frankfurt at a concentration of support to Greece during the time of the meeting.
Yesterday, the President of the Republic, during his meetings with both the Federal President of Germany Joachim Gauck and the Chancellor "Angela Merkel stressed that Greece will honor in full its commitments, but stressed that this must be so and partners, opening, immediately after completion of the evaluation, the debate on the Greek debt relief and proceeding to corrections of the program where this turns out to be wrong.
